The Sinde Law in Spain (Ley Sinde)

Yesterday many online-stream webs turned into protest because tomorrow 21th the spanish congress might will or will not approve the Sinde law.

According to the Ministry of culture this is part of the Sustainable economic law (LES), and the reason for closing this webs is because of the illegal content they have and for not paying the rights to the authors.

In the other hand the people complains in forums and blogs about this situation, because the user is supposed to not be affected with this kind of things.

So what I wanna know is.. what happened with the neutrality of the web? and what will be the end of this story?. Because this have been generating a lot of troubles in this times and I believe what we all just want is that the web just stays as a neutral playground, because that’s whats makes it so appealing to everyone.

So what do you think?, because even though to me it kind of feels that in a way we are loosing a bit of freedom of what we can do over our Internet. But it is also right that there should be some way to respect the rights of the authors, so this is not definitely a so simple problem.
